OMTS Coordinator

The role is based out of Remote (Global). This position is a remote, part-time ministry role that requires support-raising, dedicated to equipping and training people for cross-cultural service.


Overview


The purpose of the Online MTS Coordinator is to implement GFM’s online MTS program by preparing curriculum and coordinating tasks. This administrative role helps with the day-to-day running of the program, including mobilizing new students, assisting facilitators, and ensuring data control of current students.


Key Responsibilities



  • Take care of day-to-day administrative needs of students and facilitators.

  • Mobilize email enquiries into new students and assign them to facilitators.

  • Maintain the database with current student information and changes.

  • Ensure that all necessary forms (applications, referrals, etc.) are submitted by students and email Acceptance Letters to new students.

  • Fill in for facilitators and back them up as needed.

  • Create and update procedures and KPI’s for the Online MTS department.

  • Assist with developing GFM training materials into other languages and oral formats.


Required Qualifications



  • Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose , vision, values , and statement of faith.

  • Must identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ with a high view of Scripture.

  • Must have completed GFM’s Missionary Training School (in person or online sessions).

  • Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others.

  • Must have an in-depth understanding of the Moodle learning system.

  • Must have competent technology skills and be familiar with Google Drive, SaleForce, Slack, etc.

  • Experience in leading small group discussions, adult learning, and/or extensive cross-cultural missions work (among unreached people groups is helpful).
